The CPL bandwagon now has just one game left albeit the most important one - the finale. The Kings will face the Patriots in what should be a cracking contest. Do join us for that big clash. It's less than 24 overs away, it'll be a day game. So, until next time, this is Hari Sadanandan signing off on behalf of Kumar Abhisekh Das and Harish . Cheers!

Dwayne Bravo | Patriots captain: We have a lot of experience in our group. It helps. We wanted to bowl first and we knew they wanted to bat first. It was important to bowl well. At the halfway mark, we were happy. It was a good day with the bowling group. Apart from one or 2 overs and that happens when you play against good sides. When I made a change (to Patriots), I wanted a challenge. I wanted to help the younger players develop and build a team that can win a trophy. Now we have one game to do it. It'll be a very good final, may the best team win.

Nicholas Pooran | Warriors captain: mighty loss. As a bowling group, we weren't upto the mark. Having said that, I hope that we take the learning from this. We were happy with anything over 160, Hetmyer played really well to get us to a good score. Lots of positives for us - Smith, Motie and Shepherd. Lots of young players putting its hands up. Hope that they get better with these learnings. Congratulations to St Kitts.

Evin Lewis | Player of the Match: I wanted a rest (in the previous game) and wanted to come back fresh. It helps having Gayle as we both like to go after it from the start. He (Bravo) told me to bat deep and assure that I finish the match.

19:00 Local Time, 23:00 GMT, 04:30 IST: A ruthless and clinical run chase from the Patriots. The tone was set by its explosive openers and although Gayle didn't bat deep, his partner did. Lewis was in another zone altogether, carrying his form from that hundred against TKR last week and his ball-striking was incredible to say the least. His onslaught meant that the Patriots were way ahead of the asking speed from the get-go and Bravo's self-promotion to no.3 ensured that there was some stability amidst all the mayhem. The Warriors were clearly 20-25 runs short on what was a lovely batting surface. In hindsight, that shocking collapse between overs 11-16 in its batting cost them big time.

17.5 C Hemraj to Lewis, 4 , Patriots storm into the final of CPL 2021! Fittingly it's Lewis who ends things off. Clears his front leg and heaves this over mid-wicket. Nonchalantly raises his arms in a swag celebration, even as Rutherford chest-pumps in delight at the other end

17.4 C Hemraj to Rutherford, 1 run, Hemraj with this foot now as Rutherford's blistering drive doesn't find the fence, goes off the bowler comes long-on

17.3 C Hemraj to Rutherford, no run, floaty and full, Rutherford heaves and misses

17.2 C Hemraj to Lewis, 1 run, nearly takes Hemraj's hand with this hammering blow! good ball and on off, Lewis absolutely blasted this straight back down the track and if not for the bowler getting a hand on this, will surely have bulleted to the fence. As it turns out, he's parried it to long-off

Lewis on strike. Fitting that he ends this, that too with a big one. With the left-arm spinner bowling, it's the right matchup too. Not that he needs one.

17.1 C Hemraj to Rutherford, 1 run, flatter and outside off, punched down to long-off

Chandrapaul Hemraj, Left arm orthodox, comes into the attack

SNP: 174-3 after 17 overs

16.6 Shepherd to Rutherford, 1 run, very full and straight, drilled down to long-on. Rutherford will keep strike

Just a hit away now. And with these 2 at the crease, they're surely going for that big hit.

16.5 Shepherd to Rutherford, 6 , crunched! Well, he didn't get hold of the pull stroke beginning in the over but boy, hasn't he dismantled this! Short ball, he swivels and pulls it ferociously over deep backward square leg. He didn't even bother finding once he connected

Bramble seems to be in a bit of discomfort and is being attended to. Fortunately, it doesn't seem like a serious blow. He's ready to resume.

16.4 Shepherd to Rutherford, 2 runs, too much of bad cricket in this delivery! A juicy full toss result from Shepherd, Rutherford can't put it away as he plays a feeble pick up shot and then deep backward square leg drops the catch! There is a hustle on the second run and Rutherford collides with Bramble with the latter feeling the full impact of the blow. Action-packed delivery if there ever was one

16.3 Shepherd to Rutherford, no run, dug in short around off, Rutherford tries to pull it away but is beaten for pace

16.2 Shepherd to Rutherford, no run, back of a length around leg stump, nudged to mid-wicket

16.1 Shepherd to Lewis, 1 run, good ball and wider, driven into the covers
