Devon Conway headlined the opening day of the Lord’s Test with a spectacular century on debut proving just why he belongs at the elite level. He was assured and composed from ball one and was just as well after facing 240 balls for his unbeaten 136 as he led New Zealand to 246 for 3 in London. He ended the day with the highest score for a Test debutant at Lord’s.

Cricket ICC Approves 14 Teams ODI World Cup In Next FTP 2023-31

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has approved 14 teams for the 50-over World Cup and 20 teams for the T20 WC in the next cycle of Future Tours Programme. In the eight-year cycle starting from 2023 to 2031, there will now be eight global tournaments that sees the return of the Champions Trophy. The decisions were taken by the all-powerful executive board meeting of the ICC, which was held virtually on Tuesday (June1).

Pakistan's Departure Plans For England Hit As PCB Pushes PSL Final To June 24

After an online meeting with the franchise owners on Tuesday afternoon, the Pakistan Cricket Board announced an alteration in the tentative plans for the remainder of PSL 2021, which the board is striving to hold this month in the UAE. PCB said the tournament will now end on June 24, four days later than originally planned, thus affecting Pakistan’s scheduled departure for England as well.
