Kamran Akmal scored a hundred for Central Punjab against Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on the third day at the Abbottabad Cricket Stadium.

Southern Punjab vs Sindh

Southern Punjab enforced the follow-on on Sindh and took control of the match by stumps on Day 3. Sindh, in their second innings, are still 204 runs behind. Fast bowler Rahat Ali and all-rounder Aamer Yamin were the standouts, sharing eight wickets. At close, Sindh were reeling on 58 for 3, having lost Khurram Manzoor, Abid Ali and captain Asad Shafiq in a space of 15 runs.

Sindh, resuming on 90 for 1 this morning, were bowled out for 284 just after Tea, with Rahat finishing with 4 for 66 and Aamer with 2 for 26. It came on the back of Southern Punjab racking up 546 runs on the back of hundreds from Shan Masood, Aamer Yamin and Muhammad Irfan.

Central Punjab vs Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

Kamran Akmal scored a hundred for Central Punjab against Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on the third day at the Abbottabad Cricket Stadium. The wicketkeeper-batsman added 109 runs for the eighth wicket with Waqas Maqsood to lift his side from 143 for 7 to 278 all out. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, despite a 206-run first innings lead, did not enforce the follow-on.

The play on the third morning was held up about half an hour late due to bad light. Before the break, Imran Khan made two crucial breakthroughs, sending back Central Punjab captain Azhar Ali (24) and Saad Nasim (10). After the break, Central Punjab lost Usman Salahuddin (20) to go into lunch at 107 for 5.

After the lunch break, Central Punjab kept losing wickets. Zafar Gohar (5) and Bilal Asif (16) were out when Kamran came to the fore. Kamran was eventually dismissed for 136. Right-arm pace bowler Sameen Gul was the pick of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa bowlers, picking four wickets for 57 runs.

Northern vs Balochistan

Left-arm spinner Nauman Ali picked a five-wicket haul and Haris Rauf picked three for Northern, who bowled out Balochistan for 301 on the third day. At stumps, Northern were 75 for no loss and now have an overall lead of 224 runs. Zeeshan Malik scored an aggressive unbeaten 54. Haider Ali, who scored a hundred in the first innings, was unbeaten on 20.

Balochistan resumed the day on an overnight score of 119 for 2. Asif Zakir scored 61, sharing an 82-run fifth wicket partnership with Bismillah Khan (30).

Balochistan earned 3 batting points while Northern also secured 3 bowling points.
