Somerset sealed a 49-run win over Warwickshire as the visitors folded up for 189 in their second innings chasing a target of 238. After 17 wickets fell on the first day, 19 fell on the second, Warwickshire needed 136 more to win but had only four wickets in hand.

Starting the day at 103 for 6, Henry Brookes fell in the 42nd over with just 109 on the board. Sam Hain made 92 to keep fighting but found little support during the chase. Dominic Sibley, the opener, scored 24 but all other batsmen failed to cross even 13. Lewis Gregory picked four, with two on the final day, to ensure an easy win.
