Ban - 250/3 (44.1 Ovs)
ZIM - 246/7 (50 Ovs)

Summary Scorecard

The losing streak for Zimbabwe doesn't get over. Been ages since they last won an international game of cricket. But today Bangladesh were class apart. Bouncing back strongly in the first innings to restrict Zimbabwe to a total less than 250 and following it up with a clinical batting effort. Hats off to them. The last ODI of the series will be a dead-rubber, just a mere formality. But, Bangladesh shouldn't take things lightly and look forward to inflict a whitewash against Zimbabwe. Can they? Well, join us on Friday to find that out. For now, that's all from our side. Goodbye!

Saifuddin, Man of the Match: (Almost drops the trophy) Excited to win the man of the match for the first time. Really happy. I know these conditions and these pitches really well. Hence I know how to bowl wicket-to-wicket on such tracks. I did well in the last two games and my confidence is getting better day by day.

Mashrafe Mortaza: I think winning the toss was crucial. We knew about the dew, but it was not as much as we expected. So credit to the bowlers who set it up for the batsmen. Our openers started well and that was nice to see. It's a good wicket, we knew that 270-280 was very much gettable. The bowlers bowled well in patches and got the breakthrough at crucial intervals. Imrul and Liton should have got hundreds, they won't get such chances. The openers getting runs is always good for the team.

Hamilton Masakadza: We didn't manage to kick on after the kind of start. Credit to Bangladeshi bowlers for starving us at the death. We were in a great position but they didn't let us get away. This level of cricket, you have to take the chances. Their openers batted us out of the game. One more match to go, let's see how it goes.

22:14 Local Time, 16:14 GMT, 21:44 IST: Another complete performance by Bangladesh. With this win they have managed to take an unassailable lead of 2-0 in this 3-match ODI series. It was just a matter of time after the kinda start Bangladesh openers gave them. Liton Das was at his aggressive best going after the bowlers right from the word 'go' with Imrul Kayes playing an anchor's role. The southpaw had a chance to score his second consecutive century but unfortunately missed out by 10 runs. Their most experienced batsman, Rahim kept his cool and played sensibly with Mithun finishing things off in style.

44.1 Zhuwao to Mithun, SIX, Mithun launches this one into the oblivion as Bangladesh romp home by 7 wickets! This was a short delivery around middle and leg, Mithun gets hold of it, transfers his weight on to the back foot and smokes it over the deep square leg fence. Half a dozen and it's GAME OVER

Cephas Zhuwao, right-arm leg break, comes into the attack

Bangladesh need 3 runs more, guess this should be the last over of this match

43.6 Sean Williams to Rahim, no run, flatter and quicker around off, knocked back to the bowler

43.5 Sean Williams to Rahim, no run, down the leg side and flicked in front of short fine leg

43.4 Sean Williams to Mithun, 1 run, down the wicket to drill it in front of mid-on

43.3 Sean Williams to Mithun, no run, quicker one around off, eased back to the bowler and it's a 'no, no, no,' by the batsman

43.2 Sean Williams to Mithun, FOUR, shot! An easy short delivery around middle and leg, Mithun rocks back and thumps it over the field, with mid-on inside the circle this was always going to be four

43.1 Sean Williams to Mithun, no run, drives the tossed up delivery to the fielder at covers

42.6 Chatara to Rahim, no run, goes for a punch against a short of a length delivery, mistimes it to the bowler

42.5 Chatara to Rahim, no run, dabbed towards point by Rahim, a length delivery in the channel outside off,

42.4 Chatara to Rahim, FOUR, cheeky shot by Mushfiq. Opens the face of the bat late and the pace of the delivery takes it down to third man fence. The fielder sprinted across but couldn't stop it as he was a touch square on that occasion and had to cover a lot of ground

42.3 Chatara to Rahim, 2 runs, scythes the skiddy length delivery down to third man and manages to take two

42.2 Chatara to Rahim, no run, guides the length delivery to point and looks for a single, Mithun sends him back though

42.1 Chatara to Mithun, 1 run, steers the length delivery past the diving fielder at backward point
